Bear With Me Books is running a short story competition for Earth Day 2019.

Earth Day is used to promote environment protection and understanding.

Competition Theme

​

This year we're looking for planet-based stories about people or animals making an attempt to impact their environment in a positive way.

​

​

General Guidelines

​

• The maximum length for stories is 3000 words. There is no minimum length for stories.

• The deadline for entries is the April 5th.

• Winning stories will be published on the Bear With Me Books website.

• We're looking for environmentally-themed stories in any genre, but no stories with gratuitous violence, sex, cruelty or racism. Also, please don't send us your fan-fiction or stories with another writer's characters.

Submission Fee

​

Entrants will be asked to pay a £5 submission fee when entering their story.

​
